Oversee the smooth running of the spa and wellness program on a day-to-day basis to achieve the highest possible levels of guest satisfaction.

Create new, unique and interesting spa and wellness activities that draw upon the best cultural offerings of the area in which the resort is located.

To continually position the spa and wellness program by offering alternatives as a point of competitive advantage for the resort.

To have a complete knowledge of the products and services offered by the resort.

To assist in the effective and efficient coordination of all spa and wellness programs booked by our guests through Reservations, Spa, Wellness or other means.

Prepare and circulate clear information to department on a daily basis regarding all guests participating in the spa and wellness program.

To assist with the marketing & promotion of the wellness programme, in conjunction with the Marketing Communications specialist for all internal and external marketing material and advertising

Work closely with all departments to promote the wellness programme to ensure that we maximize guest satisfaction and resort revenue.

Ensure that all activities are performed in a safe environment using proper safety techniques.

Monitor and ensure the implementation to the highest levels of quality of service, standards of operation and professionalism expected.

Train and assist in the evaluation of attendants who work with the Spa and wellness program, supervise instructors and all other team members helping with any activities or functions related to the wellness programme.

Use qualified attendants in all areas where relevant qualifications are required, i.e. Yoga and Spa Therapists.

Monitor the success of the spa and wellness program through the number of participants and through guests’ feedback. Making any necessary adjustments and or recommendations with the approval of the Spa Manager to ensure the highest level of quality and standards possible.

Ensure appropriate staffing given the activities on offer and the guest mix in the resort

Ensure proper accounting procedures are followed when collecting of charging fees for the wellness programme.

Be prepared to assume other duties or responsibilities as requested by the Spa manager.

Assist in the preparation of the yearly budget for your department.

Drive revenues for your department.

Qualifications

High School diploma

Previous experience in same position for at least 2 years.

Luxury hotel experience is a must

Passion for excellent service

Excellent team player and great communication skills
