Role Profile

Majid Al Futtaim Brand Strategy & Positioning: Assist in developing and maintaining brand positioning strategies that differentiate us and our existing brand portfolio in the market. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.

Majid Al Futtaim Brand Design & Development: Assists in the development and update of the corporate brand guidelines and ensued all standards are maintained. Lead all conversations around the Majid Al Futtaim brand ensuring consistent brand expression through all B2B, consumer and customer touch points, both external and internal.

New Brand Design & Development: Support in development of new brands to the portfolio along the brand development guide framework to be reflected in brand messaging and collateral developed by the BUs and review compliance with guidelines.

Creative Evaluation: Support the development of creative collateral across Business Units to be integrated into marketing campaigns that promote brand awareness and drive engagement. Steward development of engaging content for various marketing channels, including social media, website, email, and advertising. Assist in creating compelling campaign briefs, messaging, and creative assets. Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with target audiences.

Market Research: Join market research efforts to identify market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape. Analyze data to gain a deep understanding of target audiences and market dynamics. Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics, campaign effectiveness, and consumer feedback. Prepare regular reports and presentations to track progress against scorecard KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement.

Cross Customer & Brand Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Marketing, Sales, Customer Insights & Analytics, Customer Experience and Customer Engagement, to ensure brand alignment and consistency across all customer touchpoints. Collaborate with external agencies and partners as needed.

Team Budget Ownership & Day to Day Team Collaboration: Own team budget and manage spending, communication with vendors, partners Business Units across MAF.

Capability Building effort via School of Marketing: Assist in development of School of Marketing content creation (with agency as well as self-created where appropriate) and assist to lead full operational role out for School of Marketing program.

Requirements

Professional experience: 3-5 years of brand building & management - experience in Brand Strategic Planning in a top-tier advertising agency, experience in creating successful new brands, developing, and growing existing brands, brand architecture design, planning brand campaigns, defining sponsorships, developing brand equity and governance. Must also be experienced at organization and deployment of workshop/ training facilitation, f2f or online.

Necessary Experience: It is essential that the candidate be an all-rounded, self-motivated team player with very high operational discipline.

Industry background: Prior work experience should be in brand building within the FMCG word or in a similar position with a regional conglomerate

BS/BA in Business administration marketing sciences or comparable qualification in marketing
