Job Details

Responsibilities

Promptly and accurately carry food orders from the kitchen to designated tables.

Coordinate with kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely delivery of food to guests.

Assist in setting up and clearing tables, ensuring cleanliness and proper arrangement.

Verify that each order meets quality and presentation standards before delivering to guests.

Interact with guests professionally and courteously, addressing any additional requests or needs.

Develop a basic understanding of the menu to answer guest inquiries about dishes and ingredients.

Maintain effective communication and coordination with kitchen and serving staff.

Ensure cleanliness in dining areas, including service stations and walkways.

Report any engineering or housekeeping defects to supervisors to maintain outlet standards.

Perform front and back of house cleaning duties as directed to maintain cleanliness standards.

Handle guest complaints when possible or escalate them to supervisors when necessary.

Qualifications

Experience/Certificates/Education

Previous experience in a similar role internationally or a minimum of 2 years in luxury hotel or high-end restaurant setting.

Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Friendly and hospitable approach, prioritizing customer satisfaction.

Proficiency in problem-solving and handling guest inquiries with tact.

Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

Knowledge of inventory management and billing procedures.

Good oral proficiency in English language.

Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage.

Ability to work independently and efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team.

Self-motivated and energetic.

Maintain a clean, tidy and well-groomed appearance consistently.
