Key Accountabilities:
Develop Simulations and models for Halcon electro-optics department to ensure Infrared radiometry, infrared modelling, infrared measurements and simulations in collaboration with department engineers, technician and technologist
Utilize knowledge of software and algorithm development of MATLAB, C/C++ to develop simulations and models of Electro-Optical systems in synthetic environments
Utilize knowledge and experience in Mathematical modelling, Bayesian analysis and inference, Sequential Monte Carlo, control systems, machine learning, and analytical solutions
Utilize Knowledge of radiometric modelling and simulation and heterogeneous algorithms and computations to develop models for Electro-Optics projects in cooperation with engineers.
Adapt and learn new software tools to develop simulations and models of Electro-Optical systems in synthetic environments
Execute development and systems engineering in electro-optical systems including image processing, infrared imaging, machine learning, electronic design.
Work Independently and with Team to manage, develop and establish simulation & Modelling capability for HALCON Electro-Optics Department
Lead and guide engineers by developing requirements and advising technical progress for simulation and modelling development activities
Utilize knowledge and experience of scientific computing to design and analyze models and data of electro-optical systems and test
Train and teach engineers of various levels on Simulation design knowledge
Experience & Education Qualifications:
Minimum 8+ years of experience as Simulation/modeling Engineer/scientist.
Minimum requirement of an Engineering Degree and fluency in English.
Preferred experience in Radiometry and System modeling through Software tools
Minimum holds a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, computer science and/or similar engineering and science major
