Job Details
Key Responsibilities :
Produce conceptual CAD designs of aeronautical/mechanical products
Produce complete manufacturing data packs for production (assemblies, parts & BOM’s)
Maintenance of relevant CAD models including library parts within the PLM/PDM system
Configuration of manufacturing data packs
Work closely with specialists in a multidisciplinary team
Adhere to relevant design & draughting standards and ADASI code of conduct.
Education & Experience:
Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 20 years experience in an aerospace/mechanical design environment.
Working knowledge of CAD packages
Working knowledge of PDM/PLM systems
Expert knowledge of Aircraft/Mechanical design
Thorough understanding of design principles
Good general PC skills
