Senior Navigation Technician Full-time Job

Key Accountabilities:

Maintain Facility:

Take charge of assigning and tracking assets to optimize utilization and efficiency.

Ensure seamless inventory management, replenishing consumables, and placing Purchase Orders as needed.

Conduct meticulous equipment calibration and maintain records, liaising closely with the Quality team for items requiring external calibration.

Develop robust SPF mitigation plans and maintain a critical spares list to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Spearhead the application and refinement of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) & Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) procedures for enhanced facility safety and efficiency.

Maintain comprehensive schedules and records for Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), equipment downtime, predictive analytics, and other critical areas.

Actively support Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) initiatives by contributing to risk assessments and executing resulting actions.

Play a pivotal role in supporting Test Equipment selection, order placement, and commissioning to meet organizational objectives.

Engineering Development:

Lead electronic assembly and test activities for prototypes and development hardware, ensuring adherence to the highest quality standards.

Provide expert support for mechanical assembly tasks, utilizing hand tools and light machining techniques effectively.

Conduct detailed fault diagnostics and provide invaluable support in debugging development hardware to ensure optimal performance.

Develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for both assembly and test processes to streamline operations.

Maintain accurate development build records to facilitate traceability and quality assurance.

Provide leadership and guidance in supporting Fixture design and development to enhance testing and production processes.
