Senior Healthcare Architect Full-time Job

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Planning:

Lead and oversee the design phases of healthcare projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and regulatory standards.

Develop innovative and efficient architectural solutions that prioritize patient care, operational efficiency, and safety.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including engineers, interior designers, and project managers to integrate all aspects of design and construction.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure all designs comply with DHA codes and regulations, as well as other relevant local and international standards.

Prepare and submit necessary documentation to regulatory authorities for approval.

Medical Planning:

Utilize expertise in medical planning to design functional and flexible healthcare spaces.

Work closely with healthcare professionals to understand clinical needs and workflows, translating these into effective architectural plans.

Project Management:

Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

Coordinate with contractors and construction teams to ensure design intent is realized during construction.

Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met.

Technology Integration:

Utilize Revit for design development, documentation, and visualization.

Integrate advanced healthcare technologies into the design to enhance patient care and facility operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in healthcare architecture.

In-depth knowledge of DHA codes and regulations.

Proven experience in medical planning and designing healthcare facilities.

Proficiency in Revit is advantageous.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead large-scale projects from concept to completion.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Ability to think critically and solve complex design problems.

Professional registration or certification is preferred.
