Job Details

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct detailed inspections and tests on components, assemblies, and finished products to ensure they meet design specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Implement and maintain quality assurance processes, procedures, and standards, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA).

Review and verify documentation such as engineering drawings, material specifications, and manufacturing records to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Identify and document defects, non-conformities, and deviations from specifications. Use precision measurement tools and equipment to assess product quality.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address and resolve quality issues. Recommend corrective actions and process improvements to prevent recurrence of defects.

Conduct internal and external audits of manufacturing processes, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Prepare detailed inspection reports, quality records, and non-conformance reports. Document findings and actions taken in accordance with company protocols.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and improve overall manufacturing efficiency.

Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices.

Ensure inspection tools and equipment are properly calibrated, maintained, and used correctly.

Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, promoting a culture of safety within the workplace.

Education & Experience:

Associate degree or technical certification in Quality Assurance, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Experience in quality inspection within the aerospace or aviation industry.

Strong understanding of aerospace quality standards and regulations (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA, EASA).

Proficiency in using precision measurement tools and equipment

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to quality assurance.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and inspection standards.

Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
