Key Responsibilities

Guest Service:

Greet guests as they arrive at the pool area and assist them with any inquiries or needs.

Provide information about pool rules, operating hours, and available amenities.

Set up and arrange poolside furniture, umbrellas, and other amenities to ensure guest comfort.

Safety and Maintenance:

Monitor pool area to ensure the safety of guests at all times.

Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and orderly environment.

Perform regular inspections of the pool and surrounding area to identify any maintenance or safety issues.

Test and maintain pool water quality and ensure proper chemical levels are maintained.

Report any maintenance or safety issues to the Pool Manager or Maintenance Department.

Cleaning and Upkeep:

Clean and maintain the pool area, including pool decks, furniture, and restrooms, to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.

Remove trash and debris from the pool and surrounding area.

Arrange for pool cleaning and maintenance as needed.

Equipment and Inventory:

Ensure that all pool equipment, such as life-saving devices, cleaning tools, and furniture, are in good working condition.

Report any malfunctioning or damaged equipment to the Maintenance Department.

Monitor and replenish poolside amenities, such as towels, sunscreen, and pool toys.

Teamwork and Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with other hotel departments, such as Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Front Office, to ensure seamless guest service.

Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Assist with special events or poolside activities organized by the hotel.

Qualifications

Diploma Or Degree in Hotel Management

Minimum of one-year experience in the same position in a 5 Luxury Hotel.

Basic knowledge of detergents and pool cleaning methods
