Job Details

As part of an integrated project team, to prepare and agree on project specifications, budgets and timescales with contractors, clients or other stakeholders, and to define basic design, and create or review test procedures for infrastructure components such as foundation, transformers, cleaning system etc.

Strategic contribution and execution of annual objectives

Team management and supervision

Leadership of projects from an engineering perspective, ensure maximum value creation

Provision of technical and techno-economic support with respects to infrastructure stream for all projects throughout the full investment lifecycle

Responsible to provide technical support within the department.

Manage stakeholder relations relevant to engineering discipline.

Management reporting.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in engineering or related field is an asset

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field

Additional Information

Preferred Experience:

12 years of experience in renewable energy industry (preferably with an EPC contractor, engineering firm or technical consultant) or equivalent experience

Experience managing teams

Job-Specific Skills:

Knowledge of energy market players and energy components

Knowledge of renewable energy, traditional energy industry and latest R&D trends

Knowledge of latest engineering trends

Experienced user in electrical tools (e.g. ETAP) and basic knowledge in using AutoCAD

Exceptional communication skills and able to work in a dynamic, fast paced, diverse environment.

Ability to prioritize actions and work within a diverse team
