Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough audits of income streams, verifying accuracy, authenticity, and compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

Process third-party commissions and facilitate payments through payable.

Audit daily summaries of rooms, food and beverages revenue.

Reconcile interface paymaster for accurate postings.

Run Opera daily journal and update excel sheet.

Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective measures to maintain accurate financial records.

Ensure adherence to accounting principles, legal regulations, and company policies in all income-related transactions and reporting.

Identify opportunities for process enhancements, streamline income audit procedures, and implement best practices for efficiency and accuracy.

Prepare comprehensive reports on audit findings, income analysis, and financial performance, presenting insights to stakeholders and management.

Work closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, Audit, and Operations to resolve income-related discrepancies and optimize financial processes.

Knowledge, skills and experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or relevant certification preferred.

Proven experience in income auditing, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role within the accounting or audit domain.

Experience working on the Opera system.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory compliance.

Proficiency in financial analysis tools, accounting software, and MS Excel.

Strong analytical skills with acute attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and articulate complex financial information.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
