Key job responsibilities
Promote safe working practices in all work carried out ensuring compliance with amazon safety standards and regulations.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site.
React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties and work efficiently to fix the issue.
Promote continuous improvement culture by analyzing breakdowns and propose changes and suggestions for better performance to the line manager.
Ensure high levels of equipment availability/reliability to operations team
Manage the contractors and ensures adherence to amazon standards within the site premises .
Monitor daily site utilities and sustainability performance and provide cause of change for any undesired results
Observe house keeping and cleaning practices and ensure providing the highest level of janitorial services
Daily respond to maintenance work orders and provide relevant response to RME customers and arrange needed resources to perform the task
Perform spare parts regular survey to detect any gap and inform line manager and RME planner with the needed spares
Provide On job Training to RME technicians and develop their skills matrix to ensure that they have the right level of competency to perform the tasks
A day in the life
Daily Monitor and respond to RME customers requests through trouble ticketing system and always show customer obsession behavior.
Plan the annual maintenance contracts vendor activities within the shift and prepare for upcoming shifts
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors in Engineering with Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial as major with +2 years experience in related fields
Multi skilled in either electrical and mechanical disciplines.
Solid foundational knowledge of PLC based controls systems and mechanical components
Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks.
Understanding of OEE and equipment performance metrics.
Knowledge of Statutory Compliance requirements.
Experience of contractor management.
