Key Accountabilities:

Strategic Warehouse Operations:

Develop and execute strategies to optimize warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and distribution.

Implement best practices for space utilization, inventory accuracy, and order processing efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align warehouse strategies with organizational goals.

Inventory Management and Optimization:

Oversee inventory management processes, ensuring accurate stock levels, and minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.

Implement strategies for efficient material flow, including storage, picking, and replenishment processes.

Collaborate with procurement and production teams to optimize inventory levels based on demand forecasts.

Logistics and Distribution:

Optimize distribution processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.

Collaborate with logistics providers to streamline transportation, reduce lead times, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.

Implement logistics software and technologies to enhance visibility and tracking.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices in warehouse operations.

Implement safety training programs and conduct regular safety audits.

Collaborate with regulatory bodies to stay informed about and adhere to changing safety requirements.

Team Leadership and Development:

Lead and mentor a team of warehouse and logistics professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Conduct regular training programs to enhance the skill set of the warehouse team.

Drive employee engagement and create a positive working environment.

Experience & Education Qualifications:

Minimum of 12 years of experience in warehouse and logistics management, preferably within the defense or aerospace industry.

Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with a focus on creating efficient and high-performing teams.

In-depth knowledge of safety and compliance standards in warehouse operations.

Proficiency in logistics software and technologies.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
