Job Details

Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.

Assists Banquets Manager in supervising daily shift operations.

Train Supervisors and colleagues of the department.

Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs.

Conduct regularly scheduled departmental meetings.

Work closely with the Culinary and Stewarding team to ensure all banquet/meeting requirements are in place.

Work with the Conference Services & Catering department to ensure that revenue and guest satisfaction levels are maximized.

Monitors monthly CGS and alcohol inventory.

Provides feedback to employees based on observation of service behaviors.

Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards.

Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous supervisory experience in Banquets is required.

Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required.

University/College degree in a related discipline preferred.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.

Highly responsible & reliable.

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.

Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.

Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
